Quiet, y'all, I've worn glasses since kindergarten, and I don't remember what
it's like to see the world clearly without them. No, not even with contacts,
because my contacts don't correct my astigmatism, and the world still looks
slightly blurry.
I can't even read letters four inches high on a wall three feet away. ;_;
I believe in free will and coincidences. No destiny, thank you very much.
People use destiny as an excuse to avoid responsibility for their own actions in
my book.
I'm at the end of my first year in college, and I remember high school with
nostalgia and weepy-eyed fondness. Ahhh...those days when I actually thought I
was smart...and knew how to answer all the questions on the exams...and when
midterms and finals were confined to a single week not month after month after
month...
Enjoy those years, they're never going to come back again. (Of course, that's
what grad students say about college too...)
Lucky people. I have one bamboo shinai to my name because I'm in the kendo club
at school. I saw a kata demonstration with real katanas once and it was drool-inducing.
I'd definitely like one someday, although I'll never have the hubris to think
that I could possibly wield it.
A senior who's graduating from my school knows almost no Japanese and has a job
teaching English to Japanese businessmen for the next year. So I think you'll
be fine. ^_^
Noooo...I'll never escape...do I want to escape? Probably not. ::sighs:: I
know anime fans who are over 40. Well, not personally, of course, but I've seen
them on forums and via LiveJournal. It's a strange thought.
Because all my friends like anime and I give into peer pressure way too
easily...
I thought I'd escape the anime craze at college, but already I've managed to
coincidentally find a blockmate who's an anime fan as well. I'm doomed. ^_^
O_O Now I know where to ask if I ever need to find/borrow an anime
series.
(I have Metropolis, Wonderful Days, Gundam Wing (English dubs), Naruto 43-71,
Spiral (complete), Full Metal Alchemist 1-18, X TV (complete), Trigun
(complete), various episodes of Chrno Crusade, and Hikaru no Go 1-65 on CD, as
well as a complete set of GW fansubs on VHS. My manga collection is listed somewhere on the about us page on Have Faith; plus I have scanslations for
Yume Miru Happa, Worldend Fairytale, W-Juliet, Wa!, Ultra Maniac, Spiral,
Rurouni Kenshin, Raise to the R Power, Random Walk, Peace Maker Kurogane,
Shinsengumi Imon Peace Maker, Marmalade Boy, Hot-Blooded Woman, Hikaru no Go,
Handsome na Kanojo, Hanazakari no Kimitachi e, Good Morning Call, Full Moon wo
Sagashite, Dice, Detective Conan, D.N. Angel, Count Cain and probably more, all
in varying degrees of completeness. ;_; I think I need to get more anime...)
Um...so, sometimes when I look at the links page Have Faith is listed once, with Angelette,
Bamb0o-stick and me (tarigwaemir) as the owners. Other times, it's listed
twice, with my listing separate. Why is this happening? I read in the FAQ that
the forum automatically consolidated the URLs to be nonredundant...I thought at
first it was because I uploaded a different link button, but Bamb0o and
Angelette have different ones as well. ;; Sorry for bothering the mods on such a trivial question...

The brushes are lovely! Thanks for uploading.

After high school is the wonderful institution known as college. And after college is graduate/medical/law/business school.
The Pentagon is supporting it though...
Kohaku, you're only 13? Wow...now I feel kind of old.
I'll be at the Center for Genomics Research, working on a project developing a genotyping technique using DNA microarrays. ^_______^
I'll also be (hopefully) playing with Photoshop and producing graphics.
The ending was terrible. They should have continued it for another season. ;_;
But yeah, I adored Karekano...up until the last episode that is.

;_; And I just saw my scan request get answered too...
Well, I've been trying to exceed level 10 anyway; now I just have...more incentive to do so. ;_;
There's always the help file too. ^_^
Return of the King all the way...although my personal favorite movie that I watched this year was Zhang Yimou's Hero.
Before I finally get off the Internet for the day...I thought I'd spam you all with a geeky quiz:

I got Slackware Linux. (Yay for UNIX...one day I WILL make the switch from ol' Windows...)

I saw half of one episode of Shaman King on Fox Kids.
They had the Taos speak in a British accent.
And the voice acting was overdone and simply awful.
I've been trying to figure this out for ages, and I've never made up my mind.

(Oh, and it's Tari-chan, by the way. ^_~)

Anyone know when it's coming out exactly? I want to time the release of my Cloud (FF7:AC version) to the day before the movie comes out...

Oh, so sorry for the mistake!
But it's nice to meet you anyway. ^_^
Hallo...are you by any chance datenshi_blue from LJ? ^_^ If not, sorry for the mistake; the user names sounded similar...
